DEATH OF TASTE is KMRA’s fall 2026 project exploring what happens when culinary artistry stops behaving itself. It’s a seasonal study in excess, nostalgia, beauty, fashion, and cultural collision: taking the language of fine dining and pushing it somewhere stranger, more theatrical, and more personal. Rather than presenting a fixed idea of what “good taste” is supposed to look like, KMRA uses the dinner table as a stage to question it. The project is ultimately about who gets to define taste in the first place — and what happens when we stop asking permission. It brings chefs, artists, designers, small businesses, and guests into the same room to break bread, encounter something unexpected, and participate in the work rather than simply consume it.
