About this experience

Join the playwright of the Symbolic Sight Theater for a 1 hour walk and conversation through a Boston art venue that we select, such as the MFA, HAMS, ISG. The playwright is Tim Higginson. The Symbolic Sight Theater is virtual, with performances on Substack, IG, Youtube and TikTok. We are in the middle of our Scheherazade Cycle of 1,001 daily plays. The symbols of the classic Rider-Waite Tarot Deck are our troupe of actors. Together, we tell stories about life, somewhat like Punch and Judy or Punchinello, updated for today's world. We do not do Tarot readings. Instead, the playwright takes the extraordinarily rich symbols of Tarot to tell stories about contemporary life, and along the way, to convey how a deep awareness of the symbols all around us creates a richer experience and new perspectives as we go through our lives.
