About this experience
Join guest artist Anne Koszalka for an afternoon clay workshop, where you will transform a Philly scene into a commemorative ceramic tile. Anne will demonstrate and guide you to carve clay, and layer color, to illustrate a snapshot of Philly that you love or imagine. Cityscapes, portraits, close-ups and details - bring your favorite photos of Philly, and turn them into art with your own hands! We will display all of the tiles at MUG during the 4th of July weekend!

No experience required, only willingness to try something new.

Parking & arrival
MUG Coffee & Clay is located on the corner of 8th & Federal St. in South Philly. We are located steps away from the Italian Market & East Passyunk Ave. There is plenty of free street parking (2 hour or all day parking depending on the block) ~ 47 bus stop right outside ~ Coffee & pastries available before & during workshops :)

When will my tile be ready to take home?
2 weeks from the workshop date * Your pottery will go through 2 kiln firings following the workshop. All participants will be contacted by MUG when the pieces are ready for pick up.
